The spirit of Bombay is alive and well at GupShup, Jimmy Rizvi's vibrant bi-level restaurant and cocktail bar in Gramercy featuring art installations, hand-painted murals and a collection of brass fixtures creating a 30-foot chandelier. Executive Chef Gupreet Singh (Punjab Grill) moved to New York City from India specifically for this venture. The menu features Bombay-inspired street foods, house-made breads as well as small and large plates. Signature dishes include Tandoori Lobster Tail served in Moiley sauce; Lamb with pink rose bread and apple cider jam; and Pumpkin with roasted tellycherry peppers. GupShup's cocktails are also inspired by travels through India and offer hints of Indian spices.
