Eyal Shani, the celebrity chef behind Minzon at Chelsea Market, has opened a sprawling restaurant on Tenth Avenue in Hell's Kitchen called HaSalon featuring Israeli cuisine. We dropped by for a look-see and there are two sides to the restaurant, including a formal dining room with full bar. There are also two seatings, one between 6pm and 7pm, and a second from 8pm and up. According to the website, the first is more tranquil, and the second is louder as the party gets started. HaSalon is open just 3 nights a week and reservations are a must. If we get more details we'll be sure to pass them along.
