Details: Hachibei is New York City’s first restaurant celebrating the Japanese delicacy, Unagi, or grilled freshwater eel. Unagi is treated as a delicacy in Japan. It is offered with rice, chilled tofu, soup and daikon pickles. Other dishes include octopus marinated with wasabi and an unagi-wrapped omelet.
