Istanbul, a popular spot for Turkish kebabs and other Middle Eastern delicacies, has opened its second Brooklyn location. The restaurant, in Bay Ridge, offers a nice assortment of dips and appetizers, including stuffed grape leaves, grilled eggplant with red pepper, humus, tabbouleh and baba ghanoush. Filo-wrapped rolls, called Boregi, are stuffed with cheese or spinach. Istanbul is also known for its charcoal-grilled kebabs rangeing from lamb and chicken to Adana made with ground lamb. Open-faced pies, similar to pizza, are topped wth lamb and cheeses. Satisfy your sweet tooth with baklava and kunefe, along with a traditional almond pudding called Keskul. - Thomas Rafael
