Cititour Review:

East Village eatery J-Spec, short for “Japanese specification,” is the first restaurant from NY-based distributor Tomoe Food Services. Diners can choose from a variety of A-5 Wagyu offerings, including Wagyu Fillet Katsu, Wagyu Tataki, Wagyu Handrolls and Wagyu Striploin Steak.  There's also a signature Wagyu Flight, 9oz for $160 served with original steak sauce and daikon radish ponzu.

Other offerings including assorted hand rolls (Uni & Caviar, Unagimi, Wagyu Tataki and more), along with assorted rice dishes like Unagi Donburi, J-Spec TKG (Uni, Caviar, Ikura, Poached Egg), andShoyu Simmered Wagyu Donburi. Desserts include Lychee Coconut Mouse and Mango Panna Cotta. J-Spec also operates Esora Omakase.
