JaJaJa is taking plant-based Mexican cuisine to the next level with street foods and cocktails that are just as colorful as the place itself. The West Village location features a lively bar and ample seating. On the menu, look for things like jackfruit tamales with cashew crema; coconut ceviche; enchiladas mole; and a tri-color overstuffed chorizo burrito with sausage you wouldn’t know is vegan. Cocktails are more healthy than boozy, like the Cucumber y Basil and Pineapple y Mezcal. There is also a lengthy list of tequilas and mezcals to choose from along with mocktails. One beverage worth seeking out is the Matcha Horchata, a great new take on the traditional Mexican drink made with rice and cinnamon.
