Jean-Georges is giving the menu at his name-sake restaurant a major overhaul with four price fixed menus, with half of the dishes centering on locally-sourced vegetables. A 5-course menu for $148 includes vegetarian dishes like Warm Mushroom Salad, Corn Ravioli and Beet Carpaccio. A $228 prix fixe brings ten courses ranging from Roasted Brussels Sprouts with pistachio to Romaneco Cauliflower with green curry and Steamed Silken Tofu with black truffle & mushroom infusion. The remaining two menus offer plenty of options for omnivores, including Peekytoe Crab Dumplings, Roasted Icelandic Cod, Maine Lobster with romesco sauce, Broiled Squab and Niman Ranch Lamb Chops. Wine pairings are available with each of the four menus.
