Joe Coffee now has its first roastery in Long Island City. Joe Roastery, Cafe and Lab (40-37 23rd Street, LIC) is the coffee chain's 20th location and will feature retail and wholesale coffee that is roasted on premises. Several unique menu items will also be available at the Roastery Cafe along with seasonal options like a Ginger Butterscotch Latte made with The Waverly espresso, butterscotch, ginger and a pinch of smoked sea salt. Sweet and savory breads and pastries are also being provided daily from Ovenly and Bien Cuit. Joe Coffee Roastery Lab will also offer classes like Explorations in Roasting and, eventually, private events.
