Details: The tastes of Northen China can be found at Junzi Kitchen near Bryant Park. The restaurant, which will also serve as a test kitchen, is offering two staples of the region; noodles and bings. On the noodle side comes dishes like JaJa Beef with spring noodles, jaja sauce, sprouts, cucumber and braised pork shank. For vegetable lovers there are bowls with griddled tofu and oyster mushrooms in a spicy sesame sauce. Bings, or wraps, include Sweet Bei Beef and Garlic Chili Pork. The Roasted Sesame Chicken Bing with budha's palm for crunch and a roasted sesame sauce is excellent. Junzi is also offering its first Bok Choy Salad with kale, cucumbers and a ginger-sesame dressing. Neighborhood: West 40s Payment: Accepts Credit Cards Leave a Comment |
