Everyone has been wondering about what would take over the old Tea Lounge space, and finally, the haven of concoctions ofhas morphed into a refuge of borscht.
The cafe has an interesting, if not odd, mix of Eastern European food, smoothies, ice cream, and baked goods. Situated on a prime spot on Court Street across from Cobble Hill Cinemas, Karloff achieves its aims of rustic food, simple and inviting ambiance, and high quality food. Cold drinks are served in adorable glass mugs
High tin ceilings, wooden communal tables and chairs also make it an ideal spot for students and families alike. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and will gladly and knowledgeably tell you about their wide ranging menu -- from latkas to dulce de leche ice cream.
