Details:

Katsu-Hama, with two locations in Midtown, is known for its to Tonkatsu; a deep-fried, panko-crusted Berkshire pork loin cutlet with a Katsu curry sauce. The meat is thick and juicy with a crispy coating that is perfect for dunking in the rich curry sauce. The Katsu is also available with fried seafood or chicken and assorted toppings. Appetizers include thinly-sliced spicy pork belly. The space is zen-like with small booths and tables with earth tones. Counter seating faces onto an open kitchen. Service is quick and friendly.
