Details: Real deal ramen at Kuu in the Financial District where folks are willing to wait up to an hour or more to snag a table. Space is tight with just two small sharing tables and narrow counter seating for about eight more. But terrific food and low prices keeps 'em coming back for more. Crispy squids live up to their name with a spicy aioli and cool cucumber. Pork belly buns also hit the spot. There's about a dozen differen ramen and donburi dishes offered. We tried Tonkatsu with kakuni pork served with a tangle thin ramen noodles, egg, and veggies in a creamy chicken broth. It will have you slurping until every last noodle is gone. The restaurant also offers an assortment of sushi rolls and small plates. Keep Kuu on your radar.
