Details:

French restaurant Le Veau d'Or, a fixture on the Upper East Side, since the 1930s, is getting a major redo courtesy of the folks from Frenchette, which was named one of the best restaurants in the country. The New York Times is reporting that Lee Janson and Riad Nasr have taken over the restaurant that is currently closed for renovations. The restaurant is known for French classics like Filet de Sole Almondines, Skirt Steak, Echalottes & Frites, Frog Legs in Lemon & Butter, and Beef Bourguignon.
