Lions & Tigers & Squares "oh my" might just be one of the best new pies in the city, even topping some highly-heralded newcomers. And you won’t have to shell out more than $20 bucks to try one. These Detroit-style pies come with a deep-dish crust and loaded with tomato sauce and mozzarella. The six-by-nine inch rectangular pies, which sell for five to ten bucks, have four slices each and toppings like mushrooms, pepperoni, black olives and Italian sausage. Lions & Tigers & Squares is from the same folks who brought you Artichoke pizza. Judging by the crowds New Yorkers are diggin’ Detroit!
