Detroit-style deep dish pizza can now be found in the East Village at Lions & Tigers & Squares. The corner location on Second Avenue is offering a nice selection of pies ranging from pepperoni and meatball to sausage with maple syrup. The "mustard" pie comesa caramelized cheddar cheese crust, corned beef, sauerkraut and spicy brown mustard. There are four square slices per pie, but you can also buy a single slice. Rock is the music of choice here. It's good spot if you have a case of the munchies.
