Power couple Chris Barish and Julie Mulligan, the forces behind Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer and The Lookup rooftop bar in Midtown, are at it again. Together, they are launching Lot 15, a cocktail lounge that reimagines old New York at the Kixby Hotel. Designed by the Rockwell Group, the lounge is centered around a 360 degree center bar with charred black walls and pops of gold and burgundy. There are long continuous banquettes and high top seating along with artwork by muralist Fumero with a nod to pop culture. Executive Chef Stephen Parker is also focusing on the classics with dishes like Skillet Truffle Mac & Cheese, Wagyu Steak Sandwich, House Roasted Turkey Club and Kale Caesar. Cocktails range from a vegan Whiskey Sour to a Lemon Drop Martini and a sky-blue drink called Aviation. There's also a collection of beer and wine. >>
