Details: MáLà Project is a new school Chinese restaurant specializing in Dry Pot and other delicacies. Dry Pot is a communal dish where guests choose from a collection of ingredients that are wok-fried over high heat with up to 24 different spices and special sauce adding to the complex flavors. New visitors are guided through the process. The restaurant is also offering appetizers, like Marinated Five Spice Beef and Pig Ear in Chili Oil. There are snacks, including candy garlic, along with pan fried dumplings and rice dishes. Amelie Kang, the force behind MáLà Project, developed her skills by working alongside her grandmother before attending the Culinary Institute of America and later working as a line cook for Daniel Boulud.
