Details:

Classic French dishes with Mediterranean influences await at Majorelle at the Lowell Hotel on East 63rd Street. Roger Souvereyns is now the consulting chef for the kitchen. Look for dishes like braised lamb shank with prunes and couscous; duck with rosemary, calvados, apples and lentils; oxtail braised in red burgundy wine; and steak au poivre. Desserts include dark chocolate mousse with Grand Marnier sauce.
