Details: When we first ran into Bart Hubbuch he was selling Kimchi BBQ Sliders at the Urbanspace outdoor market in the Garment District. Now he is operating his mash-up of Korean and BBQ at Rusty Nail Bar in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn. Hubbuch calls it the perfect complement to Rusty Nail's cozy atmosphere where his comfort foods will be paired up with craft beers, liquors and cocktails. Popular dishes include steamed buns (pulled pork, bulgogi or vegetarian), Korean BBQ Meatloaf, crispy-baked hot wings and Ramen "N' Cheese. Side fixins' range from kimchi coleslaw to spicy Korean corn bread and housemade sesame pickles. For dessert there are Southern classics like peach cobbler and banana pudding. Hubbuch, a longtime sports writer from Dallas and self-taught chef, appears to have found his calling with a little bit of Memphis Seoul. >> Neighborhood: Ditmas Park Latest Cititour News
