Details:

Mission Ceviche is a bright spot at the Canal Street Market. The ceviche is on par with some of the best Peruvian restaurants and priced affordably. We tried the “mixto” with shrimp, octopus and the fish of the day in a mildly spicy lime sauce. It comes with sweet potato, chocla (giant white corn), cancho (crunchy corn) and avocado cream. Other ceviches include the “classic” also made with the fish of the day and rocoto peppers; and “exotic” with shrimp, passion fruit and plaintains. Rice bowls are also offered, including one with tuna, nori, ponzu and seaweed salad. Other signature bowls bring shredded chicken, slow-roasted beef and seafood, or mix and match your own bowl with rice, veggies or quinoa. Drinks include chicha morada, a traditional Peruvian beverage made from purple corn. You will also find Mission Ceviche on 14th Street as well as Smorgasburg in Williamsburg on Saturdays.
