Chef Kyungmin Kay Hyun is taking diners on her trips to South America, Spain and other destinations at Mokyo in the East Village. Visitors will also get a taste of her Asian roots with dishes inspired by her mother and grandmother. Look for things like Corn Dumplings with truffle salsa verde, Gumbo with Korean chili peppers, Pork Jowl with cauliflower, Duck Fried Rice and Oxtail Spring Rolls. Desserts include Pop Rocks - mascarpone, berries and ivoire crumbs. Cocktails include the Mary Lychee (lychee infused soju, lychee syrup, dry vermouth, lime juice) and Hongcho Highball (basil infused soju, pomegranate vinegar, sweet vermouth, bitter, club soda). A selection of Sake and Korean spirits are alos available by glass, carafe or bottle. >>
