Details:

Nai Tapas Bar has found a larger home in the East Village for its popular tapas from Galicia, Spain. Nai, which means "mother," offers recipes handed down from chef Ruben Rodriguez's mother, Ana Maria Gonzalas Arias, who also operates a restaurant in Spain. The menu is split between modern and traditional tapas that are meant to be shared. A tasting menu, paired with Spanish wines, is also available. Dishes include Crujienne de Rabo y Trucha, oxtail toast with smoked trout and black ink aioli, and Almejas a la Brasa, broiled clams with lemon zest, cilantro and yuzu. Traditional dishes bring Pulpo a la Gallega, boiled Galician-style octopus, and Cordero Estofado, a lamb stew with potatoes. The new space, which occupies two floors,  includes a marble bar, floor-to-ceiling windows, and copper accents. You will also find Flamenco dancers on Thursdays and Saturdays.
