Comfort foods served in a rustic yet modern setting is what you will find at North Fork in the West Village. Located on Christopher Street, the restaurant is inspired by the North Fork region of Long Island where people shop and local farms and vineyards. Look for dishes like Grilled Octopus with pineapple-ginger salsa, Diver Scallops with purple sweet potato puree, and Herb Chicken slow-roasted with housemade bscuits and hot honey. Farm-style game is also in season at North Fork with Rabbit Stew, Wild Boar Polenta and Roasted Quail also on the menu. For Brunch, there is the "Brexit" Full Irish Breakfast, Crème Brûlée French Toast, and Chicken & Waffles. Doesn't get much more comforting than that. >>
