Modern Middle Eastern food with nods to Israeli and Jewish cuisines arrives in Gramercy. Chef Meir Adoni has been "let loose" to create dishes like Gefilte Shrimp with dashi gelee, pickled vegetables and creamy chrain; Damascus Qatayef with a crispy Syrian pancake filled with spiced lamb and a yogurt ayran chaser; Fluke Kibbeh Nayeh; and The Grand Bazaar featuring grilled lamb tenderloin, lentil ragout, baby artichokes and onion filled with lamb and bulgur. A variety of breads and desserts are also offered.
