Cititour Review:

Olmsted, the award-winning restaurant from chef/owner Greg Paxton, is offering farm-fresh fare, including ingredients straight from the garden at his New American restaurant in Prospect Heights. The restaurant gets its name from Frederick Law Olmsted, who designed nearby Prospect Park. Look for things like Watermelon Sushi, Lobster "Thermidor,"  Sweet Potato & Uni Pierogies, Grilled Pork Belly with dandelion greens, and Roasted Long Island Duck & Confit. Desserts include a Double Peach Melba, and S'Mores.

UPDATE: Olmsted now offers a private dining room for special events with floral wallpaper and custom bookshelves. Guests can also enter a year-round garden by walking through a floor-to-ceiling forest installation featuring fragrant preserved plants, moss and lush greenery. The new space can accomodate up to 30 guests for seated dinners and cocktail parties. For more information, call (718) 552-2610 or click here
