Restaurateur and New York City nightlife guru, Omar Hernandez (founder of Omar at Vaucluse on the Upper East Side), is extending the party downtown to the Lower East Side. Hernandez's latest endeavor is a dining club and 80s-themed discotheque called Omar’s La Boîte located at 302 Broome Street. With plush green lounge seating, jet black bar and zebra stripe doors, visitors now have a place where they can dance the night away. Seatings at Omar’s take place Wednesday through Saturday and run from 8:00–11:00pm. The prix-fixe tasting menu and accompany performance costs $200 per person.
