Details: Paper Daisy replaces Café Orlin which was a fixture on St Marks Place in the East Village for 36 years. Paper Daisy is hoping to carry on the bohemiam tradition with a laid back space, carefully curated cocktails and foods from C&B, an all-day cafe next door. The centerpiece is an L-shaped bar that seats 14, serving drinks like the Bites Back made with Rittenhouse Rye, Barking Irons Applejack, sherry, Brazilian banana liqueur, and nutmeg; and The Diana’s Breakfast, named in honor of the former owner, that offers a mix of Diplomatico rum and Torres 15 brandy with fig, pear, lime bitters, and a dollop of yogurt. C&B's menu includes things like fried oyster sandwiches, spicy meatballs and duck hot dogs. Breakfast and lunch is also served. Paper Daisy is from the same team behind Boulton & Watt, Drexler's and more recently, Mister Paradise. >> Neighborhood: East Village Payment: Accepts Credit Cards Leave a Comment |
