Keith McNally’s Pastis re-emerges on the scene after a five-year absence, and so has the well-heeled crowd that adored it. The new spot on Gansevroot Street in the Meatpacking District still has that bistro feel with dangling orbs for lights and plenty of outdoor seating for people watching and to be seen. The food is still decidedly French with classics like Steak Frites and Escargot, as well as new additions from partner and restaurateur Stephen Starr of Le Coucou.
