Pilot, one of America's prized wooden schooners, has sailed into Brooklyn serving cocktails and oysters, and offering breathtaking views. Alex and Miles Pincus, two longtime sailers who also operate Grand Banks in Manhattan, are the forces behind this latest floating restaurant and bar. The menu includes a watermelon salad, scallop ceviche, lobster roll and an outstanding softshell po 'boy. Welfleet oysters from Cape Cod and Navy Fleets oysters from Long Island are also among the offerings. Creative cocktails inspired by the sea are available as well. Pilot is located on Pier 6 at Brooklyn Bridge Park. The nearest entrance is Atlantic Avenue. Reservations strongly suggested. It's definitly worth hopping onboard! See more
