Straight from West Hollywood comes Pinkberry, and already fans are lining up. But unlike places like Grom (the new gelati sensation), Pinkberry is offering upscale Korean-style yogurt in two flavors, regular and green tea. The yogurt itself has very little sweetening and can be topped with fresh fruit, like kiwi, pineapples, rasberries or blackberries. Or, you can go for shavings of coconut and chocolate chips. Or, completely give up on being healthy and go for the cookies and cream or Fruity Pebbles. Pinkberry is not for everyone. Some New Yorkers we've spoken with were expecting something more in the line of frozen custard than frozen yogurt. Pinkberry tastes like plain frozen yogurt.
