Details: Some restaurants say they're Italian, but chef Stefano Secchi has lived it, and is now bringing the flavors of Italy's Emilia Romagna region to New York City. Secchi perfected the art of pasta-making under the tutelage of Nonna Laura Morandi at Hosteria Giusti (made famous in Netflix's Masters of None) and Michelin-starred chef Davide Palluda at All'Enoteca. At Rezdôra, the modern word for grandmother, chef Secchi is offering a menu centered around pasta with traditionally prepared meats, fish and local vegetables. Look for dishes like cavatelli with rock shrimp, green onions and basil; ravioli with ricotta stuffing, egg yolk, asparagus and black truffle; veal cheek with spring onion sauce and gremolata; and "Cows Grazing in Emilia Romagna," sirloin steak with sauces from the region. A pasta tasting with optional wine pairing is also available. >> Neighborhood: Flatiron District Leave a Comment |
