Healthy foods without compromising on flavor is the goal of Rouge Tomate. The restaurant is located in a landmarked carriage house in Chelsea. The space features wood, bronze and leather elements along with two fireplaces discovered and restored during construction. On the menu you will find dishes like East Coast oysters with apple and jalapeño, shaved local fluke with Krystal caviar, and mushroom tartare with fingerling potatoes. Larger plates include seared scallops with white bean purée and truffle vinaigrette, as well as Long Island duck breast with cabbage, radish and beetroot. Rouge Tomate also offers a six course tasting menu with beverage pairing.
