Russ & Daughters Appetizing Factory is now open at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. A favorite on the Lower East Side since 1914, the new space is selling bagels & lox, smoked fish, and traditional baked goods (including bagels, bialys and babka) straight from the oven. There's also an "appetizing counter" where you can treat yourself to one of the many spreads to take home or eat in a nearby sitting area. The Navy Yard location also boasts new kitchens, an event space and will allow for shipping nationwide.
