Not since the arrival of Black Seed has a bagel shop generated this much buzz. But when the Torrisi team is involved you know it's going to be something special. Melissa Weller, formerly of Roberta's, is the baker behind the Sadelle's bagels. Flavors include plain, poppy, sesame, onion, pumpernickel raisin and salt & pepper. Smoked salmon and salads, including egg, tuna and whitefish are being sold, along with homemade danishes and buns. Cakes, like a chocolate babka, and cookies, including raspberry walnut rugelach, are also being sold. It's also the only bagel shop where you might need reservations. Better get there early. The restaurant closes at 5pm.
