If you are looking to eat Mexican where the Mexicans go, try San Jose Teruel, a market and deli on Church Avenue in Flatbush. The actual dining area is a series of stainless steel stands where you can eat after picking up your food. Tacos, tostadas, burritos, quesadillas and flautas are on the menu. We tried the bistec tacos which hit the spot at $2.50 a pop. You can also get them made with chorizo, roast pork, salted beef, tongue and grilled chicken.
