Solaro in the West Village is part Italian bistro and wine bar. The menu delves deep into Italy with dishes like Octopus with chickpea puree, crispy pancetta and arugula; Butternut Squash Ravioli with black truffle butter sauce; and Veal Scaloppine sauteed with prosciutto and sage. For dessert, there's housemade tiramisu and Chocolate Mousse Mud Cake with raspberries.
