Sons of Thunder, the California-Hawaiian mash-up by brothers James and John Kim, is bringing its casual beach fare to the Financial District with a second location on Pearl Street. Look for things like Baja Fish Tacos and its half-and-half Tuna & Salmon Poke. The restaurant is also partnering with Brooklyn Hot Dogs with several specialty dogs that include a Chili Cheese Dog, the Chicago and a Banh Mi Dog. Chili bowls and chili cheese waffle fries are also available. Sons of Thunder also plans to offer Malasadas, homemade Hawaiian doughnuts.
