Sous Vide Kitchen - A Virtual Food Hall - in Flatiron certainly lives up to its name. Diners use kiosks to create their meals, pay by credit card, and pick up their dish at a nearby counter, where in most cases, they will have their first human contact. Several different types of foods are offered; Vietnamese, Latin, Mediterranean and BBQ. Diners pick from an assortment of appetizers, bowls, sandwiches and salads. We gave the Banh Mi sandwich a try. It was actually quite good, packed with pork belly, fresh veggies, cilantro, fried onions and a spicy sauce. It's served on toasted baguette. See more
