Nothing says Italian like apple pie. At least not until now. Anthony Fontana, who started selling his flavorful cannolis on a truck, has set up shop in the East Village. Here you can buy pre-made cannolis or have them filled while you wait. Either way, the cannoli pastry is nice and crisp, and stuffed with all sorts of flavors, like pumpkin, p&j, red licorice, mint chocolate chip, pistachio and Almond Joy. There's even french toast which is a joy to eat. The shells can be sprinked with powdered sugar or drizzled or dipped in melted chocolate. Small cannolis sell for $2 each; $5 for regular size.
