Forget popcorn and a movie, how about popcorn oysters? That's right. Dinner, drinks and a movie can all be found in one place now. Syndicated, a stylish restaurant, bar and theater in Bushwick is offering it all. Snacks include things like "Loaded Tater Tots" with pulled pork and cheddar, and "Scrumpets;" corned beef short ribs served with Russian dressing. The "bigger stuff" ranges from buttermilk fried chicken and steak frites to heritage porcheta and hurricane popcorn tuna. Cocktails come with names like Airplane III, Up In Smoke and the Steve McQueen. The driving force behind Syndicated is Tim Chung, a lifelong movie buff. The 50-seat cinema features a 280" screen, film theater-quality digital projector and surround sound. It will showcase classic and Indie films, and will be used to host film festivals. Specially designed leather banquettes provide unimpeded sight lines and films will be screened daily. It gets better. There are eight types of gourmet popcorn. Let's start the movie!
