Details: Tacovision is a sleek new spot for tacos in Midtown. The bi-level space offers fast-food style dining on the ground floor with a more casual approach upstairs. The ingredients also stand out, ranging from heritage meats to sustainable seafood and small-farm greens. Tacovision is also house-pressing its own tortillas. Tacos range from traditional favorites like Al Pastor made with pork shoulder and roasted pineapple to the LaFrieda Dry-Aged Cheeseburger taco with green tomato chile relish. Crispy Oyster tacos get a dab of chipotle tartare sauce while others are filled with things like roasted local porgy. Vegetarians have several choices too, including fried brussels sprouts, vegan chorizo and roasted cauliflower. Aside from tacos, rotisserie chicken, shrimp ceviche and other items, including grain bowls, are available with choice of toppings.
