Details: Short-lived Encore has given way to The Meatpackers, an American bistro located in a landmark building in the Meatpacking District. The restaurant, on Little West 12th Street, boasts a full bar, large sharing tables, exposed brick, archaways and blue banquettes. The kitchen is being led by two-star Michelin chef Richard Farnabe who's worked at Daniel, Soho Grand and Petrossian. Farnabe's menu features a Kale Caeser, Hamache Ceviche, Duck Breast with a smoked cocoa crust and a 32-ounce Prime Rib, among several steak options.
