The Pennsy is a high-end food court just steps from Penn Station and Madison Square Garden. The space is industrial chic with large garage doors opening onto an outdoor plaza. Tables are topped with weathered wood with bright taxi-cab yellow stools. The Pennsy also marks the first retail location for butcher Pat LaFrieda's meats, including a first-rate steak sandwich. Also setting up shop; The Cinnamon Snail, a popular vegan food truck operation turned brick-and-mortar; Mario Batali and Mary Giuliani's new concept called Mario by Mary; Chef Franklin Becker's healthy spot, The Little Beet; and Celebrity Chef Marc Forgione's Lobster Press.
