Details: The Whole Bowl, a West Coast vegetarian/vegan eatery, now has its first location on the East Coast in Williamsburg (488 Metropolitan Ave). Started as a food truck in Portland, Oregon in 2001, the Whole Bowl now has locations in Oregon, Ohio and Arizona. Williamsburg is its 12th location. Each bowl includes brown rice, avocado, black and red beans, Tillamook cheddar, black olives, sour cream, cilantro, salsa, and its signature Tali sauce (a secret recipe that took two years to perfect). Guests can also "veganize" their bowls (which does not include cheddar or sour cream). Bowls come in three sizes: Bambino Bowl (12oz/$8.95), Big Bowl (16oz/$9.95), and Insatiabowl (24oz/$11.95). There is also a larger "Hyperbowle" size, which can feed 8-10 people and costs $69.95. The restaurant also offers vegan and vegetarian sweets. As for the space, look for lots of reclaimed wood, Moroccan tile and a trellis with live greenery. Neighborhood: Williamsburg Video Profile: Click for profile Latest Cititour News
