Tri Dim West now has a spacious spot on Columbus Avenue where they are serving up dim sum all day. The restaurant features a full bar and a dining room that extends to the back of the restaurant where large windows allow in plenty of light. I could survive on the dim sum menu alone. Here your will find dumplings with pea shoots, pork dumpling in chili sauce with fried garlic, and crispy Peking duck rolls. Cold appetizers include drunken chicken served Shao Xin style and jellyfish with scallion sauce. Larger plates include Prawns in Black Bean Sauce; Gu-Lu Pork sautéed in a sweet and sour sauce made with pineapple, lychee and cherry; and Beggar’s Chicken, a boneless chicken marinated in five spice sauce and wrapped in dry lotus leaves and clay before being roasted for six hours (It must be ordered 24 Hours in advance).
