A taste of Sweden on Manhattan's East Side.Review By: Benny Prim
Ulrika's, which opened in April 1999, offers candle lit dining, friendly service and quite affordable prices.
Piping hot Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes and lingonberry sauce cost just $15 and was quite good. Desert included a miniture stack of Swedish "pannkaks" with cloud berry sauce and fresh whipped cream.
Next time we'll try something a bit more exotic like the rack of venison or grilled pheasant.
