Details:

Uluh is a beautifully designed Asian Tea House in the East Village. Escape from the hustle and bustle in a zen-like atmosphere with towering beams, ornate metal screens and dried flower arrangements that offer bursts of color. The signature tea is the “Rose Goldfish.” The tea leaves and rose petals arrive in a goldfish-shaped tea bag swimming in a crystal clear teapot attached to tiny fishing pole. It’s pure genius. Equally impressive are the bright pink lotus puffs, light and airy, with a warm bean paste center. Both are prepared in house along with assorted dim sum, small plates (including Malaysian Curry Chicken, Macau Pork Chop Bun & Braised Abalone), and desserts (including Matcha Chiffon Cake, Mango Panna Cotta & Jasmine Pudding). Before leaving Uluh we were given a small bowl of noodles. but it wasn't really noodles at all. It's actually textured strands of dry tofu mingling with bright green cilantro leaves in a soy dressing. Amazing! See more
