Cititour Review:

You can pretty much find any kind of ice cream in the city.  There's gelato from Grom and Amorino, artisan varieties Blue Marble and Van Leeuwen, and ice cream that isn't really ice cream from the Soft Serve Fruit Co.  Enter a new breed of ice cream made from vitamin-rich goat milk.

And before you write it off as baaaa-d, it actually tastes really good. Maybe because the folks at Victory Garden NYC, founded by Sophia Brittan, say it's prepared daily, in-house with lots of love.  We sampled the "Chocolate Victory" topped with fresh berries.  It seemed a bit denser than traditional ice cream.  It's rich and thick and very chocolaty.   Other flavors include Orange Blossom Vanilla, Black Current Lavender, Boozy Caramel and a signature herbal blend.

The milk for the ice cream comes from the Beltane Farm in Lebanon, Connecticut where the goats are raised without any antibiotics.  Goat milk is also easier to digest for people with lactose intolerance. It all makes for a wholesome delicious treat well worth trying.
