Wagyu Social, Takeout & Delivery only, NYC Wagyu Social/"The High Roller" Now open, Wagyu Social is a delivery and pickup only restaurant dedicated to Japanese A5 Wagyu beef, known worldwide for its fine marbling and rich, full-bodied flavor. Wagyu Social showcases this prized beef with burgers, Niku (meat) sushi and rice bowls. All the Wagyu is imported from Japan and the burger buns are from Grandaisy Bakery in NYC.

The signature The High Roller Burger ($85) features 6 ounces of 100% Japanese A5 Wagyu beef, topped with foie gras, truffle, radicchio and caramelized onions, plus fries and pickles – only 10 of these are available each day. It is presented in an elegant two-tiered box with the burger, foie gras, radicchio and pickles in one compartment, and the bun and condiments in the other. (The fries come in a separate container.) The Katsu Burger ($65) has 5 ounces of 100% Japanese A5 Wagyu beef tenderloin cutlet, yuzu, seaweed and cabbage slaw plus fries and pickles. There are also 50/50 burgers ($35), a mix of Japanese Wagyu and American grass-fed Angus beef, including the United 50/50; Teriyaki Burger ($35) and Curry Burger ($35) topped with Japanese cabbage slaw, each with a side of fries and pickles.

The Wagyu Roast Beef Bowl with premium Japanese A5 Wagyu slices over rice comes with two homemade sauces: creamy sesame and Japanese soy garlic sauce. Uni and ikura salmon roe can be added to the bowl as well. Wagyu Niku Sushi (8 pieces per order) features slices of Japanese A5 Wagyu over sushi rice, with optional sea urchin and salmon roe additions. Sides and snacks like edamame and truffled or seven spice fries are also offered. A selection of sake, beer and wine will be available to start with spirits coming soon.
