NYC Restaurants

Shanghai street food is the star at Yaso Tangbao in Midtown. It comes in the form of soup dumplings, buns and noodles. The restaurant, which has already developed quite a following, is looking to blend food, history and culture in every bite. Look for things like Sweet & Sour Pork Ribs, Braised Meatballs and Sweet & Spicy Dumplings topped with peanuts and cilantro. There are steamed baos, or buns, stuffed with chicken, pork or vegetables that are packed with juices. Larger plates include Braised Beef over rice with sunnyside up egg, and Curry Chicken with noodles or fried rice.
